Areas of work
Deborah specialises in commercial litigation and Alternative
Dispute Resolution. She has particular experience in
franchising related matters, having acted for both franchisees
and franchisors in major litigation. She handles a wide
range of commercial disputes and regularly deals with
cases in the High Court.
Education
Deborah was educated at the University of Sheffield
(1994 – 1998) where she completed a degree in
Law with French. As part of her studies she spent a
year at the Université of Aix- Marseille where
she was awarded a diploma in French Law. Thereafter,
she attended the College of Law, Guildford (1998 –
1999). Deborah joined Goodman Derrick as a trainee in
1999 and joined the litigation department as an assistant
solicitor upon qualification in 2001.
