Mark specialises in commercial property investment and
financing, acquisition and development ownership and
funding joint ventures for domestic and international
investors and developers, residential and commercial
property development, commercial landlord and tenant
law, and non-contentious construction.
Education
Mark was educated at Helsby High School, Cheshire (1973
– 1980), Durham University (1980 – 1983)
and College of Law, Chester (1983 – 1984). Following
articles with Simmons & Simmons, Mark qualified
as a Solicitor in 1986 and became an assistant solicitor
in the Commercial Property Department for Simmons &
Simmons. In 1989 Mark joined the Commercial Property
Department of Linklaters & Paines and in 1993 Mark
joined Alsop Wilkinson as Assistant Solicitor in their
Commercial Property Department. In 1994 Mark spent four
years with Rakisons as Partner and then joined Goodman
Derrick in 1998 as Partner.
