Most Admired Programme

 Goodman Derrick sponsored the top award for the "Most Admired Programme" at the Voice of the Listener and Viewer’s 25th anniversary awards at BAFTA this month.
The VLV speak for listeners and viewers on the full range of broadcasting issues. The VLV was described in the press recently as ' the most important champion of television and radio consumers by consistently pressing for the retention and extension of high quality public service broadcasting”
VLV members award their own prizes every year for excellence in broadcasting. This year, to mark their silver anniversary, VLV had asked hundreds of broadcasters and programme makers to name their own favourites. The results were announced by Andrew Marr at BAFTA at the ceremony earlier this month and extracts from the top 25 programmes were screened before an audience of television and radio stars, programme makers and broadcasters and VLV members.
