Clare has been practising contentious and non-contentious employment law since qualification. Her particular areas of practice include drafting employment contracts and policies, advising in relation to all aspects of the employment relationship from recruitment to termination, including disciplinary and grievance issues, redundancies and compromise agreements.
She is often involved in assisting on the employment aspects of corporate transactions and advising in respect of the application of TUPE. She has knowledge of the law relating to the regulation of the recruitment industry and experience of drafting terms of business for clients and terms of engagement for candidates.
Her clients are mainly UK based employers but she has also represented individuals in claims in the employment tribunal relating to termination of employment, discrimination and harassment.
