Clare is a Chartered Tax Adviser as well as a solicitor and specialises in providing individual estate planning solutions to private clients.  Her expertise in inheritance planning encompasses the provision of tax-efficient Wills, preparation of lifetime settlements and the administration of estates including estates with foreign assets. Clare can also advise about putting in place Lasting Powers of Attorney and making application to the Court of Protection. Clare provides private client services to the clients of other City firms which do not have an in-house private client department. She is a member of Solicitors for the Elderly, Society of Trust & Estate Practitioners, Chartered Institute of Taxation and is a recommended adviser for Mencap.
