Goodman Derrick strengthens the bond with Levy & McRae in Scotland

Goodman Derrick and leading Scottish law firm, Levy & McRae are delighted to announce two reciprocal consultancy appointments.

One of our leading corporate partners, John Roberts, has become a consultant to Levy & McRae in Glasgow and Professor Peter Watson, Solicitor Advocate and Senior Partner at Levy & McRae, is also to become a consultant to Goodman Derrick. The two new posts provide a seamless transition for clients between the two firms and ensures a high quality, partner-led service for our respective clients.

John Roberts specialises in corporate law and has handled numerous high profile mergers, acquisitions and flotations over many years, particularly in the hotel and leisure sector.    John was Goodman Derrick’s Senior Partner and more recently has served three years as President of Legal Netlink Europe.  He is a trustee of English National Ballet and the Borrow Foundation.

Peter Watson, who is also head of litigation at Levy & McRae, has spearheaded legal teams involved in some of the biggest claims in British legal history, following major international disasters - Piper Alpha, Lockerbie, the RAF Chinook Crash on Mull of Kintyre and the Dunblane Primary School massacre.
