Goodman Derrick LLP Promote Three Experienced Solicitors to Partner

Goodman Derrick LLP is pleased to announce that James Daglish (commercial real estate and licensing), Debbie Rider (dispute resolution) and Dagmara Selwyn-Kuczera (commercial and residential real estate) have been promoted to the firm’s partnership.

James, Debbie and Dagmara join newly recruited real estate partner Chris Langan and Rebecca Gardner, who has been promoted to senior solicitor in the corporate department.

James Daglish primarily advises on non-contentious commercial real estate matters, predominantly in the field of landlord and tenant relations but also on sales, acquisitions and refinancing. He has a broad portfolio of clients, and is well versed in providing a clear, pragmatic, and tailored service. In addition James provides licensing advice for commercial premises in the leisure sector, from hotel chains, restaurants and nightclubs to stand alone bars and pubs. Debbie Rider is experienced in the conduct of a wide range of commercial disputes with a particular focus on all aspects of commercial and residential property litigation. She has developed a specialist practice advising on contentious matters in the real estate field, acting for a variety of property owners, agents and landlord and tenant clients. As a separate specialism Debbie is experienced in media and intellectual property disputes advising on brand protection issues, copyright, trademarks, passing off and domain name ownership. Dagmara Selwyn-Kuczera has broad experience of commercial property matters with particular emphasis on investment transactions and landlord and tenant issues. She specialises in advising property companies and trustees of pension schemes on portfolio acquisition and subsequent management. She regularly acts for banks and other financial institutions in connection with secured lending transactions. Dagmara also advises in relation to residential property transactions.
