Goodman Derrick partner with Shelter to deliver an innovative Pro Bono service in the London Borough of Newham

Goodman Derrick have reached agreement with Shelter to become the launch partner for their innovative Pro Bono service. Shelter, the housing and homelessness charity that supports over 1 million people a year, will be seeking through this programme to provide much needed legal support via an innovative approach that partners with law firms.

The programme is currently in pilot mode and Goodman Derrick are the first firm to commit their support.

The firm’s real estate dispute resolution lawyers will be providing free legal advice to from Shelter’s Office based in London Borough of Newham, a borough with the highest rate of households in temporary accommodation in the capital and with a very high number of residents living in overcrowded accommodation.
