Boost for SME developers as United Trust Bank (UTB) and Homes England launch £250m Housing Accelerator Fund

Long-standing Goodman Derrick client United Trust Bank have announced a new five-year lending alliance with Homes England to provide development finance to SME builders at up to 70% Loan to Gross Development Value.

The Housing Accelerator Fund will provide construction loans between £1m and £10m.

Goodman Derrick’s UTB Client Partner, Chris Langan, commented:

“This innovative alliance provides a welcome boost for the SME property development sector in these challenging times. SMEs provide an absolutely vital contribution to the UK’s housing needs, providing much-needed housing on sites that don’t make sense for the bigger players and this expansion of funding can only boost the sector. We congratulate everyone involved in creating and launching the Fund.”
