Casual Dining Brunch Two: Tackling the Challenges of 2019

Goodman Derrick's Hospitality & Leisure team will be hosting a morning of discussion on Thursday 28th February with a number of stakeholders and advisers from the casual dining sector, to chart a route through the current choppy and unprecedented market conditions.

Guests at our causal dining crunch event last summer identified a number of significant challenges. Our second brunch event will be an opportunity for deeper discussion into at least three:

1. Talent:

Are we experiencing growing pains, or are present recruitment difficulties a result of social change and Brexit?  Whatever the reasons, what can be done to win the competition for talent?

2. Eating:

Has eating become cheating as customers focus on mocktails and craft beer? We’ll discuss changing eating habits, the role of technology and their effect on your service and premises.

3. Profit:

Many are experiencing high footfall and turnover, but without profits being fully realised. What can you do to improve your bottom line?
