Richard Bailey to join the global delegation at the IBA's annual conference - 8th - 13th October

Richard Bailey will be joining the global delegation of senior IBA members at the organisation’s annual conference in Sydney from the 8th to the 13th October.

The International Bar Association, established in 1947, is the world's leading organisation of international legal practitioners, bar associations and law societies, as such it influences the development of international law reform and shapes the future of the legal profession throughout the world. The annual conference is one of the largest of its kind with over 6,000 lawyers and legal professionals attending from all corners of the world.

Richard is an experienced construction law partner at London law firm Goodman Derrick. The team of three partners and four lawyers provides contentious and non-contentious construction law advice to property owners, developers, contractors and consultants. The practice is international in outlook and has considerable experience in international disputes. Richard will be participating in the International Construction Projects Group at the IBA.

Richard commented:

"Our clients are often international in their outlook. The IBA conference, and the network it engenders, are therefore important to the firm when we are providing legal assistance that requires expertise in multiple jurisdictions. We are able to provide our clients with trusted and friendly advisers from around the world."
