Charlotte Coyle

Senior Associate

Charlotte specialises in family law and advises on a full range of children and matrimonial issues including divorce, dissolution of civil partnerships, cohabitation, separation and pre & post nuptial agreements.

She has a breadth of experience advising high net worth individuals including those in the media and is well versed in financial matters involving business assets, foreign property and complex pensions. 

Charlotte acts for clients in problematic children matters, usually involving cross-jurisdictional elements and sensitive issues such as retention and relocation of children. She has significant experience in acting on behalf of grandparents who find themselves in need of support and guidance through transitions be it temporary or permanent.

Charlotte is committed to achieving the best outcome for all her clients recognising that each case is unique. She is regarded as being protective of her client’s best interests and will go over and above to get the best result possible for them. Charlotte often conducts advocacy on behalf of her clients.    


Charlotte read Law at the University of York and completed her LPC at the College of Law, Bloomsbury. She qualified in 2014 and prior to joining Goodman Derrick in 2019 she obtained over 14 years experience within family law from high street to boutique firms in London.

When not at her desk, you can find Charlotte at live music events and festivals with her friends. She is a water sports enthusiast and is usually planning her next holiday in the sun.
