A property lawyer for over 40 years Guy has experience on almost all aspects of the acquisition ,development, retention, letting and disposal of both commercial and residential property.

He has acted for a wide range of UK and international clients, corporations and individuals, developers and investors, charities and country estates, businesses and private clients.

Although he has withdrawn from the frontline he still advises clients old and new on structuring potential transactions and assisting on resolving issues which may arise during the course of such matters.

Career

After Articles at Finnis Christopher Foyer & Co Guy progressed to partnership with that firm. He was subsequently a partner at West End property firms Mills Thomas & Co and Berger Oliver before the merger of the latter practice with Goodman Derrick.

Education

Guy was educated at Gunnersbury Grammar School and Leeds University where he obtained a LLB Hons Law degree.

Out of the office

Apart from the usual combination of reading, theatre, cinema and art Guy still swims (badly), rides a bicycle (though never ever in Lycra) and follows his lifelong addiction to Brentford FC.
