Simon Stone


Simon acts on a full range of corporate transactions, including private and public acquisitions and disposals, private equity investment, joint ventures and corporate restructuring. Simon has experience of advising clients in a broad range of sectors, such as technology, retail and sport, acting for both buy-side and sell-side clients.

Simon also has extensive experience advising companies and individuals on shareholders’ agreements and general company matters including articles of association and Companies Act 2006 procedural issues and compliance.


Simon prides himself on having a keen eye for detail while maintaining focus on the big picture. He provides an outcomes-focussed approach and takes the time to get to know the client’s business during a transaction. Simon is committed to delivering a timely and engaging client service.

Career and Education

Simon joined Goodman Derrick in November 2021 having trained at Blaser Mills Law, qualifying in 2019. Prior to that, Simon gained experience at Slaughter and May.

Simon was educated at The University of Leicester (LLB Hons) and The College of Law.
